We had our first company staff meeting for the year, and we were served various kinds of tikoy and hopia plus siomai. I also got a fortune cookie.
By some weird stroke of fate, my fortune cookie contained two fortunes, which kinda sorta contradict each other. These are:
- Before you proceed with what you have in mind, stop and and think on it for a while.
- Be firm in what you want. Either do no attempt at all, or go through with it.
Huh.
